Cormoration, who has just returned to Peking from.
visit to Sout► China, has furnished me with an inter-
asting memorandım of a conversation with Sun Yat-ann
at Canton on l'arch 13th last, copy of wich I have the
honour to enclose, on the subject of the construction
of the Canton-Kowloon Canton-"enkow Junction line.
Extract from a similar memorandìm of a conversation
between Mr.layers and Mr. Liang i-yi at Fonekong
is also attached.
It will be noted that "r. Sin expressed
